It creates a small visible footprint, almost hidden for the naked eye. The key is also the handle and the striker creates compression between the panel/hatch against the frame preventing any rattle or noise.
There are several benefits to using the T-Roller. When the handle/key is removed, the hatch is completely locked and cannot be accessed without it. This feature is especially useful for panels or hatches that should only be opened for service or inspection by authorized personnel. The latch can be used on many hatches or panels on your boat, and you only need one handle/key. When the handle/key is inserted and snapped into its locked position, it also functions as a handle—capable of lifting up to 50 kg—eliminating the need for any additional external handle. The latch has a very small footprint on the A-surface, minimizing interference with the panel or hatch's interior design.
